Prayer247 was conceived in the Fall of 2021 and launched in January 2022. We are a group of passionate followers of Jesus Christ who have a burden to encourage every Christian to spend an hour a week to pray for a worldwide revival.
Prayer247 is a non-denominational Christian prayer movement that endeavors to encourage and facilitate the creation and mobilization of prayer circles in churches, independent institutions, and groups in every community. We are a Christ centered organization that focuses on edifying the body of Christ and bringing all into a living relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other.
I am a passionate follower of Christ who believes all things are possible through Him who strengthens us. I am a husband and a father of three daughters. As a minister I had the honor of serving as a senior Pastor in Kenya for nine years. Currently I serve as a staff pastor at Calvary Christian Church in Lynnfield, MA, I lead the prayer department, and also oversee our Evangelism training program. I also have the privilege of serving as the Executive Director of Good Hope inc, a nonprofit that serves the needy in the US and around the world. I hold a bachelor’s in education and a Masters in Pastoral Leadership. For fun, I enjoy watching movies with my daughters, playing soccer, and running. A favorite verse: "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind stays on you, because he trusts in you." Isaiah 26:3 (ESV)
I received Jesus as a child during a church summer Vacation Bible School, and since then, I've been on a lifelong journey to know Jesus more. I've enjoyed serving with my wife in a variety of ministries over the years, including children and youth, healing and deliverance, and night watch prayer. I treasure the quiet moments of prayer when I can simply soak and rest in God's presence, which is captured for me in one of my favorite verses found in Psalm 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God.
Felix Acheampong is a passionate believer of the Lord Jesus Christ and hails from Ghana, West Africa. He discovered the mighty Midwest when he decided to attend South Dakota State University (SDSU), graduating in 2019. He also holds a PhD in Biochemistry from SDSU in South Dakota. Felix is a Prayer 24/7 Assistant and is a member of Calvary Christian Church (CCC), Lynnfield, MA. Felix and his wife Beatrice were married in July of 2017. They have two wonderful children: Eleazar and Aviella. Felix enjoys a great game of soccer and grilling delicious meats. He loves to pray and teaching mathematics and scientific classes as well.
I’m a grateful believer in Jesus Christ as Savior & Lord and believe that He is the hope that this world is looking for. Worship is the heartbeat of God that keeps us focused, encouraged, and holding onto that hope. There is power when we pray His Word and allow the Holy Spirit to lead and empower us as we lift up the needs of people. When we unite in prayer in this manner, we can see His goodness in real time. I like to keep it simple: Love God. Love People. My prayer for you: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” Corrie ten Boom
As a worshiper of Jesus Christ I pray that I will be useful to Him. He has changed my heart from holding onto anger and to forgive and forget the wrongs against me, to always look for the good in others. As I grow closer to Christ, the Holy Spirit gives me opportunities to share the Gospel with others. I’m a husband to my wife Carol Ann and father to our son William and we are devoted to the Godly ministries within Calvary Christian Church. I’m grateful to be a part of the Prayer247 Leadership team and I pray that Prayer247 Glorify’s our Heavenly Father. My hobbies include Golf, walking and learning about all sorts of things which of course, includes the Gospel.
